We’re excited to announce the expansion of Paca House, our permanent housing facility in Baltimore.
In May, our developer begins the $27 million transformation which includes 92 modern efficiencies and one-bedroom apartments with kitchens and bathrooms.
We will also expand our Paca House services to homeless veterans.
The renovation is made possible through corporate and nonprofit grants, VOAC funds, city community development funds and state low-income housing funds and tax credits.
Residents at Paca House are homeless or facing homelessness. Through supportive services, we work to improve their quality of life and self-sufficiency with a variety of programs and referrals ranging from financial literacy classes, life planning, vocational training, GED preparation, and substance abuse treatment.
Paca House upgrades are expected to be complete in August 2019.
