As we prepare for our 8th Annual Harvest for Hope Breakfast, scheduled for October 25, 2017, we want to give you a preview of some of the heartwarming testimonies you’ll experience at the event.
Harvest for Hope 2017 is free to attend, but we hope the heartwarming testimonies persuade you to offer your support to the Volunteers of America Chesapeake’s programs.
We will have food, music, and discussions about what our community can do to address the needs of the homeless and veterans populations in Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia.
You’ll meet veterans and formerly-homeless individuals we’ve been honored to empower into self-reliance.
100% of the proceeds from the fundraising event benefit our homeless and veterans programs in Northern, Va.
Your support can help expand the resources of our network of programs, including our emergency shelter and supportive services to more than 1,800 homeless individuals and families.
We hope to see you on October 25!
