The Volunteers of America Chesapeake family is entrusted every day to answer the voices crying out in the wilderness. I Trust in my ability to care about the individual that is alone and unable to fend for themselves.
Daily I seek how I must respond to that call for help. Is it by being the voice of reason, that respite to listen or the action needed to sustain my colleague beckoning request for support?
I always revert to the quality of each encounter. It’s not by chance that we have been placed where God wants his deed spread among mankind. It is God’s Trust that I depend on daily, monthly, yearly and beyond to bear the fruit of love, hope and goodness throughout Volunteer of America Chesapeake.
For I am one in the sum of many that embody Care, Respect, Faith, Quality and Trust.
Psalm 37: 3 Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pastures.
Peace and Blessings,
Lionel Gloster, Volunteers of America Chesapeake Spiritual Lay Leader/ Facilities and Fleet Supervisor
