Hey Chesapeake Family, Happy Monday!

Today’s Motivation comes to us from Ms Joan Henry of our DC Community Living Centers!

My motivation to answer to the Call to Care at Volunteers of America Chesapeake is that I stand on the premise of Luke 12:48 that sates “To whom much is given, much is required.”

I have been blessed in many ways by God, family and friends, so I thought it not robbery to bless others.  I have been working with people with Intellectual Disabilities since 1990 in various capacities and it warms my heart EVERY chance that I am given to provide advocacy. I get excited and motivated when a new skill is learned!
