Today is Thank You Thursday and we’re thanking our partners KaBoom! and the Dr Pepper Snapple Group for helping us bring playtime to Pratt House!

Located in Baltimore City, our Pratt Street Transitional Housing Program is home to more than 100 children who before a grant from KaBoom had no place to play. By awarding Volunteers of America Chesapeake a grant to kick start the playground build KaBoom effectively answered the Call to Care for the children we serve. 

We were able to connect with partners like The Baltimore Convention Center and Sparks @ Play to make our children’s dream playground a reality.
