Good afternoon Bloggers!
Imagine this for me…. You’re in the 3rd grade, walking in to your first day of class and your teacher asks you to pull out your notebook to answer your warm-up question for the day “How was your summer”. You reach down and realize that you don’t have any supplies, even your composition book.
Did you know that students who don’t read proficiently by the 3rd grade are 4 times more likely to leave school without a diploma? And we all know before you read you must know how to write.
So what may be the first step in resolving this issue??
Here is our Wednesday’s Wish:
COMPOSITION NOTEBOOKS
From young children to adults (even myself!) we all use these books to help us keep track of our daily lives, record important events, or just write down how we feel. With these books, you can help a child learn the most basic of all tools for an education: how to read and write.
