Each day Volunteers of America Chesapeake staff and volunteers answer the Call to Care for our neighbors most in need. That includes individuals both inside and outside of our programs. Facilities Supervisor Danny Sanders of our Hilda M. Barg Homeless Prevention Center was recognized for his efforts to provide water to un-sheltered Prince William County Residents in the midst of last week’s triple digit heat:

 Thank you so much for bringing dozens of cases of bottled drinking water for our patrons. It provided great comfort to many who were affected by the brutal heat this week. I appreciate your partnership and kind consideration and look forward to our continued commitment to our community.
