Happy Wednesday Folks!!

This morning I came across a sad statistic. 1 in 5 homeless children repeat a grade.  That’s 20 percent.  Here at Volunteers of America Chesapeake we want to try to put an end to that statistic with our wish for today: 

Enrichment Books

Found on our Amazon Wish List, these Enrichment Books can help children bridge the gap between grades during the summer times or help them during the school year as a refresher.  Along with the funds we are raising we can help these children receive the 365 a day learning they need so that they will never have to repeat a grade.
