Today is Thank You Thursday and we’re thanking
The Hampton Roads Community Foundation
Join us in thanking The Hampton Roads Community Foundation for their support of The Lighthouse Center in Virginia Beach. The Lighthouse Center is a day program for homeless adults. The center offers shower facilities, case management, life skills training and winter shelter services throughout the Hampton Roads area. The $20k general support grant will help us provide additional life skills training including housing readiness resources, financial literacy classes as well as employment and job placement assistance.
The Hampton Roads Community Foundation is southeastern Virginia’s largest grant and scholarship provider. Since its founding in 1950, the regional community foundation has provided more than $152 million in grants and scholarships to improve life in southeastern Virginia.
