Our Residential Program Center located in Arlington, VA provides detoxification and early recovery services to adults in struggling with substance abuse. RPC, as we like to call it, also provides a homeless shelter, case management and crisis intervention to homeless men and women throughout Arlington County.
On Christmas this year residents and staff at RPC got together for a game night including Bingo and Dominoes. Program Director Eileen Corbet shared some of the photos with us:
Residents also enjoyed a full breakfast at The Original Pancake House in Falls Church, VA courtesy of the restaurant. The DC Jewish Community Center spent time with the residents in the afternoon playing games, exchanging presents and enjoying deserts. In the evening, Temple Rodef Shalom brought a delicious dinner for all the residents and staff.
The residents truly enjoyed all of these events and there was plenty of food for all. We really appreciate all of the efforts made to make a special holiday for all.
On behlaf of our entire organization we’d like to thank all our donors and partners including The Pancake House, The DC Jewish Community Center and Temple Rodef Shalom for answering the Call to Care this holiday season.
