Thank you to KaBoom!™ & Dr. Pepper Snapple Group™ for awarding Volunteers of America Chesapeake a “Let’s Play” grant. This grant will help us renovate the existing play space at our Pratt Street Transitional Housing Program to provide a safe and happy place to play for the over 100 children living at Pratt House. A special thank you also to Baltimore architect & VOAC Board Member Donald Kann and his firm Kann Partners for donating their time and expertise to designing and building this dream playground.

Our Pratt Street Transitional Housing Program provides shelter, supportive services and employment resources to 35 formerly homeless families in Baltimore, MD. Our program prepares these families to obtain and maintain permanent housing.
